Fluke SMFT-1000/Lite Solar Multifunction Tester Kit

The Fluke SMFT-1000/LITE is a significant addition to the Fluke Solar MultiFunction Tester (SMFT) series, arriving just a year after the successful launch of the SMFT-1000/KIT and SMFT-1000/PRO. The SMFT-1000/LITE is a response to the specific requirements of solar installers seeking a safe, reliable and cost-effective solution to perform IEC 62446-1 Category 1 tests on PV solar installations.
Thanks to the colored test leads and the 'Keep the Leads' function, the SMFT-1000/LITE can automatically perform mandatory safety tests in less than 30 seconds, in compliance with the international standard for PV installation IEC 62446-1. This includes polarity, continuity of protective earthing conductors (RLO), open circuit voltage (VOC), short circuit current (ISC) and insulation resistance (RINS) tests.
The SMFT-1000/LITE version comes with the essential accessories, specifically tailored for mandatory safety testing, while still keeping the flexibility to expand testing capabilities by adding additional accessories. The SMFT-1000/LITE keeps the same mainframe as the KIT and PRO versions, making it easy to expand functionality without the need of firmware updates. Users can effortlessly add accessories like the i100 clamp for inverter functional and efficiency tests or the IRR2-BT for precise I-V curve tracing and assessment.
