• The legs pivot on a roller and are tensioned by a bow spring, which allows for accurate adjustments.
• The fulcrum stud of our calipers has a large bearing surface, which prevents side deflection of the legs, and the adjustment is made by opening and closing the legs using an adjusting nut.
• Inside calipers are used for gauging the inner diameter of an opening and then transferring that measurement to a ruler.
• Outside calipers are a useful measurement transfer tool when working with round stock or oddly shaped materials and then transferring that measurement to a ruler.
• The Groz Spring Dividers are versatile tools designed for drawing arcs, tracing contours, scribing circles into metal and other marking applications.
