IKA Chemical Anchor Spin-In Glass Capsules are designed for fixing compatible threaded anchor studs into concrete using a chemical anchoring system. Each glass capsule contains a pre-measured quantity of anchoring material, helping provide consistent resin dosing during installation.
During installation, the threaded stud is driven into the prepared drill hole using the appropriate rotary action. This breaks the glass capsule and mixes the anchoring components around the stud, forming a chemical bond as the resin cures.
Spin-in glass capsules offer a convenient alternative to cartridge-based chemical anchors for suitable applications, particularly where individual anchor points require a controlled amount of resin.
